NAIOP of Florida has two major events each year: its annual Day at the Capitol in Tallahassee and a Public Affairs Summit in the fall.

NAIOP of Florida’s Day at the Capitol is held during a legislative committee meetings week or during the legislative session. NAIOP members from around the state go to Capitol Hill and meet with legislators and key aides. During these face-to-face meetings, NAIOP members can effectively advocate for the commercial real estate development industry’s core issues.

The Public Affairs Summit is the forum where NAIOP members establish the industry’s core issues in advance of the next year’s legislative session. All NAIOP members are encouraged to participate in this review of state issues that could have a positive or negative impact on commercial real estate development.
